Community Services Manager
Grade G SCP 20 - 25 £25,295 - £28,785 37 hours pw

The Council is looking for a Community Services Manager to take our community support function to the next level. This is a newly created role and the ideal candidate would be a self starter and highly motivated. The role encompasses external community group liaison, management of the Council's Radio Station and event management. The role also involves working closely with the Mayor of Maghull to support the civic function as well as with the Community Support and Engagement Committee. Attendance at some evening meetings is expected. This is a very exciting opportunity to join the Council as it starts on it's next stage of development. Administrative Officer
Grade D SCP 5 - 6 £18,795 - £19,171 (pro rata) 18.5 hours pw Wednesday - Friday

Applications are invited for the position of Administrative Officer. The successful candidate will be employed by the Town Council to provide administrative support for the Council’s activities, including accounting procedures where appropriate and advise. You will also have a flexible, motivated attitude and be confident with minute taking.
Some knowledge of local Government would be an advantage but not essential. Common sense and an ability to acquire knowledge is more important. You must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, sound organisational skills, good literacy and be able to work on your own initiative. Attendance at evening meetings is required (approx. 1 per month) for which Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) is given.

Grounds Maintenance Supervisor x 2
Grade E SCP 7 - 11 £19,554 - £21,166 37 hours pw

Maghull Town Council is seeking to recruit two Grounds Maintenance Supervisors to support the Council’s grounds maintenance operations. The role encompasses working alongside the Council’s Amenities Manager to ensure the smooth running of day to day ground maintenance operations, in addition to the supervision of grounds maintenance operatives. Experience of supervising staff and supporting day to day operations including stock taking, risk assessments and inspections is preferred. Attendance at some evening meetings is expected. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Council as it continues to improve its parks and open spaces offer for residents of and visitors to Maghull. Maghull Town Council is seeking to appoint a number of Grounds Maintenance Operatives to support the Council’s grounds maintenance operations. The role encompasses working within the parks and open spaces of Maghull to improve the offer for residents of and visitors to Maghull. This work will involve grass cutting, strimmimg, blowing and litter picking. You will also support Grounds Maintenance Supervisors and the Amenities Manager to ensure the continued development of the Facilities Service of the Council.
