Maghull Resilience & Flooding Committee

The Maghull Resilience & Flood Committee are a group of local residents and councillors working toward creating a Community Resilience Plan for the town.

Maghull has areas within it's boundary that are a flood risk. Our town has had a history of flooding in the past, both from the canal and as a result of weather. We want to work together with the community to make sure we are better prepared in the future.

Volunteer Clean-Up - Saturday 22nd October (10am - 2pm) - POSTPONED.

Are you interested in supporting the community? Join our volunteer clean-up around drainage ditches in Maghull. The build up of litter and rubbish in these drainage ditches seriously impacts flooding within our town and can put many properties in danger of emergency flooding. We're looking for physically fit members of the community to give a helping hand. If you would like to get involved in our volunteer clean-up, please contact Maghull Town Council on 0151 526 3705 or email
